Victor Hugo Pontes
There’s no fairy tale, no elements of wonder, no fantastic. The morals is different, the outcome, of a different nature. In A Ballet Story I don’t know if the story adjusts itself to the music or if the dance adjusts itself to the story. The narrative will be composed by each spectator (or not). It’s not about a linear articulation between music, narrative and dance. It is about a process of mutual influence and elective affinities that put together a piece which is manoeuvrable in various ways and, as far as it can be, appears as a whole.
